Reporting to the CMO and to the local Sales Director, you will work closely with the local Sales and Design teams and the Global Marketing and Lead Development organization to help us establish a strong footprint in the region. Your key tasks will be centred around Marketing, Communications, Market Research, and Sales Support.

The Role

Qualifications & experience

  • You are an established marketing professional with at least 5-10 years of creative and programmatic marketing experience within the startup and corporate digital transformation realms, and you’re likely to come from an IT technology, management consulting, or design agency company
  • A measurable track record of success devising and running marketing programs for high-tech and professional services firms
  • Strong experience putting together high-touch events, thought leadership programs, account based marketing and other curated lead-generation activities
  • A strong background creating and implementing programmatic demand generation programs
  • Experience owning and nurturing a company’s brand
  • Strong communications and social media skills
  • Experience working with the Startup ecosystem and/or with Tech, UX, and Design
  • You speak and write English fluently
  • You are passionate about creating ideas, new plans and structures, and following them through. You’re also a tough program manager/project manager, and will bring the energy, experience, and tools required to establish the Cogniance brand and drive customer acquisition in a systematic and scalable way
  • You have experience in industries such as Automotive, Adtech, Consumer Electronics and Health, or in horizontals like Design, Data Science, and IoT

As part of the role you need to:

  • Create, own, execute and be accountable for the local marketing plan and the ROI related to it. Included in this is:
    • Build on the global marketing strategy to create a locally founded Marketing plan for growing the Cogniance footprint in target UK markets by leveraging the available resources
    • Build awareness and consideration of Cogniance’s brand in UK target markets through social media and owned, earned, and paid PR, including speaking opportunities and events.
    • Create a lead generation plan together with sales and the global Lead Development Team to ensure pipeline build up
    • Work actively with the local business ecosystem to create awareness, partnerships, and business opportunities
