Our internal academy programs are designed for experienced professionals looking to perform a “soft landing” into one of the following specialized domains at Cogniance:

Testing & Quality Assurance Academy
Undergoing two months of mentorship and on-the-job practical training, successful candidates will be reporting directly to their mentors or the Head of Testing department, and working side-by-side with Cogniance engineers covering such topics as:

• Software testing concepts (both theory and practice)
• Development and review of test documentation (test plans, test cases, defect reports, verification checklists, metrics documents)
• Analyses and documentation of test results
• Bug tracking systems
• Change management concepts
• Software product/program management concepts

Requirements to enter Testing & QA internship program

• Critical thinking, math, and problem solving skills
• Intermediate level of spoken and written English
• Desire to develop in the field of Software Testing and Quality Assurance
• Ability to interact with the team
• IT background is a plus
