Michael Shraybman
President
Michael is a seasoned Management Consultant and a Program / Project Manager with 12+ years of experience designing and implementing solutions for the Fortune 500 clients in Mobile, Financial Services, Entertainment, and other industries. He has extensive experience working with remote software delivery teams, including 8+ years in Ukraine and Eastern Europe.
Michael holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School and is a native Ukrainian and Russian speaker. He resides in Menlo Park, California and oversees Cogniance's US-based clientele.
Sergii Gorpynich
CTO
Sergii moved into software development during his PhD course at National Technical University of Ukraine. After working several years as a software engineer with C++ and Java technologies, Sergii managed several software development projects for Softline, one of Ukraine's largest software companies. He joined Cogniance as a Java team lead and now runs our entire engineering team.
Sergii has 11+ years experience in desktop, internet and wireless software development, integration and maintenance, including 6+ years in management positions and 3 years managing a team of 30+ engineers. Sergii holds an MBA from Kyiv Mohyla Business School.
Roman Perimov
QA Manager
Roman brings 8 years of dedicated test and SQA experience to Cogniance. He is specifically experienced in recruiting and training junior testers to deliver industry-leading quality and cost performance.
Roman has developed all of Cogniance's test and QA processes. Having more than 40 IT certificates that can be viewed at here, Roman boasts the highest SQA test score in the United States.
Julia Klimentovskaya
Design Director
Julia has over 7 years experience in Design Management. Before joining Cogniance, she managed a large design team of artists, HTML coders and flash engineers consulting for various internationally-owned web development companies and advertising agencies. At Cogniance Julia directs all UI and Art Team activities. Julia is specifically Interested in UI design, layout motion design, web and print graphics, and ensures that Cogniance imparts a global design aesthetic.
